Steve Theaker

Steve joined Peacheys in 1995 from KPMG, Cardiff and became a partner in 1998. He is the Senior Tax Partner at Peacheys and in charge of the Abergavenny office. Steve is an all round tax expert but specialises in Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax and Business Tax mitigation. Steve is a member of the ICAEW and CIOT.

Outside of work Steve is the treasurer for the M4 Business Network and Abergavenny Chamber of Trade, and a board member of Newport & Gwent Enterprise. He is an avid cyclist having cycled in recent years for various charities across Spain, France, Ireland and from Lands End to John O’Groats, raising tens of thousands of pounds. Steve is also a member of the Abergavenny Acoustic Club and has quite a reputation in the Newport & Abergavenny areas for performing at seminars and breakfasts hopefully proving that not all accountants are the same.
